Welcome to Arlington United Methodist Church!

Every day we try to fit in as much as possible in a 24-hour span, sensing the need for something more out of life. We schedule more activities, join new groups, see new places, meet new people and yet we still feel an inner hunger that goes largely unfulfilled. Jesus Christ is the one who can fill that inner hunger and make meaning out of your life!

You will find many opportunities for worship on Sunday mornings in a variety of styles — everything from traditional hymns to a contemporary praise band in Spanish and you might even hear drums and singing of Africa too — depending on which service you choose! We also offer a non-traditional, contemporary worship experience, called Faith Renaissance, on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the SonShine Room to better meet the needs of those in our community who have felt disillusioned with organized religion. Regardless of your preferred style of worship, all our services seek to be relevant and grounded in the Word, challenging us to go deeper in our walk with God.

In many ways Arlington UMC defies the boundaries and expectations of most churches because it is both large and intimate simultaneously.  With many programs and staff to meet your needs, Arlington UMC also offers a closeness that many folks have described as a "family" in its worship settings as we seek to truly meet people where they are.  One worship expression does not meet everyones needs, which is why we offer multiple worship services simultaneously.  We have also discovered there are times when it is wonderful to worship and serve God all together.  Truly, Arlington UMC is a place where people from every economic background, nationality, and race are welcomed as a vital part of our community. It is our heartfelt desire to make you feel welcome too wherever you choose to plug in!

May God Bless You,
Wes Arthur,
Interim Senior Pastor
