Arlington Street Peoples' Assistance Network (ASPAN)

We provide dinners one night each month. We prepare and serve 50-60 bagged meals that are delivered one night each month to homeless people on the streets at two locations in north Arlington. Bagged meals include: two sandwiches, fruit, a drink, and other items such as granola bars, chips, or cookies. In addition to the bagged meal, soup is served (donated by the DC Central Kitchen). If you are interested in participating or would like additional information, please contact Julie Froom.

Currrent Needs

Too many old socks in your drawer? Help assure that the homeless people of Arlington have access to essential garments like socks and gloves by participating in our sock and glove drive in December. What we need are socks (new or used), in particular adult athletic socks. Gloves (new or used), in particular medium/large men's and women's gloves. These will be given out on Christmas Eve as a gift to our guests who join us for dinner that night.
